At Operation 143, our Student Weekend Backpack Program is the focus of our mission. We are committed to serving students in our 6 partner school districts. In order to do that, we rely on the support of so many people.
How can you help?
We are so fortunate that so many people want to help us carry out our mission to fight childhood hunger. Here are some of the ways you can be part of that:
BEcome a donor
It takes money to fill a backpack. Specifically, it costs nearly $75 for each backpack (or bag as we are currently doing while Covid restrictions are still in place) for one student. The cost adds up quickly. You can make a one-time donation, become a recurring donor, or event become a corporate sponsor.

Donate supplies/host a food drive
Many families choose to add our Operation143 shopping list to their own family grocery list! This is a wonderful way to contribute to our Backpack program. You can also host a food drive with your family, your friends, your co-workers, etc.

We (thankfully) are overwhelmed with the generosity of spirit from our current volunteers and do not have any specific needs for more at this time. If you have a specific project (confirmation, graduation, service) in mind, please reach out to Lisa Heverly at lisah@operationbp.org for more information
