At Operation 143, we strive to live out God’s call to do all things in love, by feeding His children. We work with our donors, community partners, organizations and schools to provide students in over 30 schools with meals on the weekends.
Childhood poverty is in all of our communities. Food insecurity affects students at your child’s school. Children just like yours depend on free meals during the school day, and Operation 143 sends them home with backpacks full of easy to prepare food to bridge the gap of the weekend, with enough food for dinner Friday and breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday and Sunday.
Our mission is simple and we work hard striving to fulfill that mission. We are blessed with a community of educators, parents, students, business owners, churches, families, and individuals who help us keep the cupboards and the backpacks full.
If you’d like to join us-read through and find out how.
It costs money to fill the backpacks, and to keep the lights on, and to put gas in the vans and cars that deliver our student meal bags.
Every donation makes a difference. Find out how you can contribute to fighting childhood hunger.
At Operation143, one of the best ways to get involved with our mission is to host a food drive. We always need food donations and you can be an important part of our mission.
One of the best ways to help Operation143 is to share our work with your friends, your family, your workplace. We’ve been able to expand from one school in one district to dozens of school in 6 local districts thanks to our amazing community who consistently supports us with their work, their prayers, and by sharing our work with others.
